CRAVING FOOD CULTURE

Dear Ella and Suse,

I am a working mother and am trying to find a passion for cooking and
feeding my family with a love for good food.  When I was younger, I was satisfied with simple jarred sauce over pasta.  Now, I'm sick and tired of opening up jars, and need to enjoy cooking and teaching my family to experience taste/textures and the spiciness food and nourishment brings to life.  I crave a book that can open our senses to the smells, texture and feel of passion of real emotional nourishment.

Thank you,

Dear Craving,
First off, you need to read Like Water for Chocolate by Laura Esquivel – it shows more clearly than any novel we know how the love of the one preparing the food can be transmitted to those that eat it. A simple but wonderful act that will surely have your family flourishing in a whole new way. For more sophisticated writing about the smells and textures of real food, however, we suggest you go to Anthony Capella, and read his wonderful book “The Food of Love”. This book takes place in Rome, and describes a woman who falls in love with a man that she believes to be a wonderful cook. In fact, he can’t cook for toffee, and his best friend is in the background, creating fabulous dishes. This book immerses you in the aromas and flavours of Italian food, making it seem entirely possible to create delicious meals that nourish in every way.
Yours,
Ella and Suse

In case you are a new comer to preparing food, keep in mind there are wonderful food packages that you can use in order to save some time and steer clear of a taste mishap. Meal products are created to give you a faster means of developing a dinner, although ensuring that the ones that require a great meal concept have all they need to make a tasty meal that may be completely are unsuccessful proof.

If you are a mother, trend is one of the last thing on your mind, But know that it is easy to look nice and functional as well. Whether getting the kids to the recreation area, sports events or other function, add charm to your look with a wonderful T-Shirt, joint-duration skirt and a couple of toned flip flops!
